Can you send fragile or important items with Morris Couriers?
Yes — and here is how we handle them and what the cover looks like.
Fragile, valuable or important items are a normal part of what we carry. Electronics, machine parts, materials for a stopped job — we take them all.
How your load is protected
- Your load travels alone. Nothing else goes on the tray, so there is no risk of other freight shifting against it.
- Strapped down properly. Every load is secured to the flat deck with proper restraints.
- Covered. Goods in transit up to $500,000 per load — per load, not a yearly shared total.
- Direct delivery. No depots, no handovers, no hub sorting. It goes from pickup straight to where it needs to be.
What we can take
Pretty much anything within reason. The deck is 2,400 × 1,800 mm and each ute carries up to 1,000 kg per ute. If you are unsure whether we can take it, ring and ask — you will get a straight answer.
What we recommend for fragile items
Wrap or pad the item securely before we collect it, and tell us what it is when you ring. If it is fragile, valuable or an awkward shape, say so on the call — the more we know about the load before we set off, the straighter the answer you get.
